NUT pay calculator: New for 2006
The 2005 pay calculator is archived here.
The 2.5 per cent pay award for September 2006, recommended by the School Teachers’ Review Body (STRB), is just at the level of inflation. It freezes your purchasing power. It will do nothing for recruitment and retention.
The Government has accepted the STRB’s recommended increase on all pay scale points, TLR payments, SEN allowances and leadership pay scales in September 2006. It has also accepted recommended further increases of 2.5 per cent in September 2007.
For more, see NUT News 25.
Should your management allowance be replaced after the end of 2005 by a TLR payment, you will need to adjust your pay calculation on the basis of the TLR awarded.
