NUT pay calculator: New for 2005

The 2004 pay calculator is archived here.

This pay calculator allows you to calculate your pay with effect from 1 April 2005. The Government has decided that pay scales will go up by only 2.5% from 1 April 2005 and that management allowances will continue to be frozen with no increase at all.

With a current inflation rate of 3.2%, these pay increases represent another pay cut in real terms for all teachers. The NUT has consistently opposed the imposition of these grossly inadequate pay increases.
