Searchlight Magazine and Trade Union Friends of Searchlight have organised a free one-day conference to discuss the fight against fascism and racism. The Conference is being held on 16 November 2013 in London.
The NUT’s Deputy General Secretary, Kevin Courtney, will be among the speakers at the Conference, where there will be discussions on the following themes:
The role of the trade unions in resisting fascism and racism
No Platform: the cornerstone of our ethical and political history
Education in the front line of defence of our young people
Building a stronger non-sectarian front of mutual support and respect, and safeguarding all of us from state and fascist infiltration.
The conference will take place at the Bishopsgate Institute Conference Centre, London EC2M 4QH from 9am until 5pm. You can reserve a place at the Conference here
