This two day residential special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) conference will include a range of key note speakers and workshops that specialise in the area of SEND in schools. The conference is aimed at SENCOs, special school teachers, and those responsible for SEND policy in schools. Participants will explore new ideas and share best practice on the following themes:

  • Developing a 5 year strategy for SEND
  • Building collaborative practice between schools and practitioners in the area of SEND
  • The national picture of SEND policy and practice
  • Case studies from primary and secondary phases on their journey to achieving high quality policy provision and outcomes for pupils with SEND
  • Writing effective ECHPs
  • Dealing with social anxiety
  • How social media can impact on SEND pupils
