Notification of executive by-elections: District 19 and equalities constituency for black teachers

Following the election of Amanda Martin as Vice President and the resignation of Paulina Blackstock, vacancies now exist on the Executive in Electoral District 19 and the Equalities Constituency for Black Teachers.  The term of office is the remaining part of the term from Easter 2017 to 31 December 2018.

Ballot Papers sent to members eligible to Vote

Elections are conducted in accordance with trade union legislation (for the statutory elections which are Senior & Junior Vice-President, Treasurer, Executive members including equality constituency seats and General Secretary) and also relevant rules of the Union. It is essential that these rules are followed at all stages of elections, including the nomination stage.The elections for National Disciplinary Panel and National Appeals Committee are conducted under the relevant Union rules.
